If one gives the above keyword or some similar in Internet

search machines in English or German and/or in international

and even German patent data bases, one is surprised:

One finds so e.g. over 900 hits for appropriate patent applications;

and that, although earthquakes until today are not predictable.

What is thus to at these devices?

Fast one states that most devices work themselves also only

in seconds and minute range before an earthquake with their

warning promise.

These devices are to be called thus probably respectable

and scientifically founded, whether they have any use however

with so extremely short advance warning time, are questionable.

With further searches one finds however also different devices

with longer advance warning times. Here a general volatile view

of the date of registration of the patent is sufficient, in order to be

able to arrange it in.

Only which is so approx. at the most 10 years old, is worthwhile

oneself more near to regard.

And there I found two very interesting and promising registrations:

One is in the German data base on English and comes from Italy;

Number JPG 2273481.

There are made in three different places measurements;

VLF waves (very long frequency of waves; electromagnetic

waves from the very long-wave range) and rock tensions,

and to be charged central with one another and then alarm

release sometime; they seem to be thus safe, by which parameters an

earthquake is characterized.

Then I have found in the international data base a very interesting

registration, which one cannot read in however, probably it is not

public and the procedure am not yet final:

Inventor is YIN Zhongqi patent number: CN24164897:

"Impending earthquake predictor using animal abnormality before earthquake".

That would be naturally very interesting, which is there contentwise behind.
